You will receive mail from us primarily electronically from the beginning of 2026
If you do not yet have Suomi.fi messages in use, you will automatically have access to them when you log in to the authority's electronic service with your Suomi.fi identification in 2026. Suomi.fi messages will replace paper mail sent by the employment area, meaning that in the future you will no longer receive the same message in a letter.
You can start using Suomi.fi messages now when you identify yourself in an authority's electronic service. From the beginning of 2026, separate consent to the implementation of Suomi.fi messages will no longer be asked, but you will be informed when you identify yourself that Suomi.fi messages will be available to you.
