We help you apply for a residence permit
We help you apply for a residence permit. If you want to move to Finland as an entrepreneur, you can apply either
- residence permit of a trader or
- residence permit of a start-up entrepreneur.
Tell us about your plans and business idea so that we can advise you on which residence permit you should apply for. We will also tell you how you should proceed in setting up a company.
If we find that you should apply for a start-up entrepreneur's residence permit, we will help you plan your business. When we help you, you have a better chance of getting a positive statement from Business Finland for a start-up residence permit.
If you do not receive a positive statement from Business Finland, you can apply for a residence permit for a business owner. Processing an entrepreneur's residence permit application takes much longer than processing a start-up entrepreneur's residence permit application.
If you don't get a residence permit for a start-up entrepreneur and a residence permit for an entrepreneur, there is also a third option: you can find work in Finland and get a residence permit because of it. In this case, you will be able to live in Finland and prepare to start your own company here.
