Our organization

The South Häme employment area is made up of four municipalities: Riihimäki, Janakkala, Hausjärvi and Loppi. This means that all four municipalities finance the activities of the employment area.

The responsible municipality for the South Häme employment area is the City of Riihimäki. This means, among other things, that the City of Riihimäki finances the activities of the employment area more than other municipalities. In practice, all employees of the employment area also work for the City of Riihimäki. The personnel of the employment area are located in the vitality sector of the City of Riihimäki.

Our employees have their workplaces in Riihimäki or Janakkala, but some of them also meet with customers in Loppi and Hausjärvi.

Our staff

The South Häme employment area has a total of 52 employees, most of whom work with private customers, a few with corporate customers, and the rest in various support tasks.

Our employment advisors are familiar to many of our jobseeker clients, as we have appointed their own employment advisor for each of them. Employment advisor is the most common title among our employees. We also have youth employment advisors and foreign language employment advisors. In addition, our jobseeker clients are served by work ability counselors, service advisors, career psychologists and TYM advisors. TYM-abbreviation means multidisciplinary services that promote employment.

Our business advisors are familiar to many of our corporate clients, as we have appointed a dedicated business advisor for each company in our region. In addition to the business advisors, companies are served by a business specialist and an education specialist.

Unemployment security specialists, a systems specialist, a leading payment specialist and a communications specialist work in various support positions.

These professionals are supervised by a customer service manager, a business service manager and a development manager. The South Häme employment area is led by an employment director.
